Elsen overshoots the EUR 100 million turnover mark
The Elsen Group generated turnover of EUR 103 million in 2018, 11% more than in 2017. Strong growth in the group’s logistics operations business field made a major contribution to the increase. This year Elsen plans to open a site in the Göttingen region (Germany) and expand its logistics activities in the Greater Berlin area.
The group’s CEO Thomas Klein commented: "The past year was the most successful in the Elsen’s history to date.” In addition to the logistics sector, new business with the Japanese automotive supplier Musashi also fuelled the turnover’s positive development.
Klein added: "We want to strategically realign our transportation organisation this year. The focus will be on digitalisation and cross-border networking between the affiliates in Germany and Poland. (mw)
