ELP delivers further Euro Dual locomotive
Schweerbau is expanding its fleet with a second Euro Dual locomotive from the Swiss leasing company European Loc Pool (ELP). The German rail construction specialist will use it for transporting machinery, materials, and for on-site operations. Delivery is planned for Q4/2024.
ELP, which was founded in May 2018, ordered the first Euro Dual in Q3/2018. Since then, the company has signed a framework agreement with manufacturer Stadler for 100 Co'Co' hybrid locomotives.
85 locomotives have been leased to date under long-term full-service contracts with more than 30 operators in six countries. (ben)
