Ellermann the ‘entrepreneur of the future’
The German Innovation Institute for Sustainability and Digitalisation (Deutsches Innovationsinstitut für Nachhaltigkeit und Digitalisierung) has recognised Thomas Ellermann, managing partner of the company Ellermann Containersysteme, with its ‘entrepreneur of the future’ award (Unternehmer der Zukunft).
The jury highlighted Ellermann’s commitment to safe, digital and sustainable solutions in container construction. It particularly underlined the ‘Speed-Top’ quick-release system, which enables containers to be closed securely from the ground, and the ‘Quick-Top’ system, which can be operated with a cordless screwdriver and thus also increases occupational safety and efficiency.
For over 40 years the company from the town of Ganderkesee in northern Germany has supplied the recycling industry with special containers. It is recognised today as a driver of innovation for medium-sized companies. (ah)
