EJMT adds hybrid cranes
East Java Multipurpose Terminal (EJMT), part of ICTSI in Indonesia, has received two new Konecranes Gottwald post-Panamax mobile harbour cranes. These cranes, featuring a diesel-electric hybrid system, are designed to enhance the terminal's capacity to handle bulk, project, and container cargo.
The cranes will be operational when the terminal opens in September, marking an important step in EJMT's development as a key domestic and international gateway. Additional equipment is expected to arrive by late August. (pb)
