Eichinger to take charge
The leadership of the Bundesverband Möbelspedition und Logistik (German Association of Furniture Forwarding and Logistics, AMÖ) is in a process of transition.
The present managing director Dierk Hochgesang will leave the association at his own request at the end of October to pursue new challenges. His successor, Andreas Eichinger (photo), has now begun to familiarise himself with the job.
Eichinger has extensive experience in the transport industry. At airport operator Fraport, he was entrusted with strategic tasks as well as association and committee work, among other things.
Most recently, he was Fraport's VP operational and a member of the board of directors of the Sesar Deployment Alliance AISBL, a joint venture whose core task is the coordinated modernisation of European air traffic. (amh)
