Egypt and Rwanda: a new collaboration
The foreign ministries of Egypt and Rwanda have signed an MOU concerning their countries’ transport and logistics industry.
Linked by the Nile Basin, the signatories will be looking to strengthen their cooperation in terms of economic growth. During his visit to Kigali, Egyptian foreign minister Badr Abdelatty held talks with his Rwandan counterpart to this effect.
Rwanda has decided to allocate a logistics area to assist Egyptian investment in the Rwandan market, while Egypt will focus on supporting Rwandan infrastructure for water management and health.
The Rwandan minister Olivier Nduhungirehe has been invited to come to Egypt at the nearest possible opportunity to continue this dialogue. (mk)
