Efficient rail solution for energy transports
Canadian National Railways (CN) and the energy company Keyera have signed a memorandum of understanding that will leverage their joint expertise to evaluate the creation of a specialised clean energy terminal in Alberta’s industrial heartland. The partners believe that this new infrastructure could aggregate conventional and clean energy from multiple sources.
The objective of the collaboration is to provide an efficient rail logistics solution in Alberta’s industrial heartland to transport a range of specialised low-cost sustainable energy products to key markets domestically and globally, CN said. The new facility will be built on adjoining lands belonging to Keyera and CN. (ben)
