ECSA recruiting new management
After four years as secretary general of the ESCA, and in agreement with the ESCA board, Martin Dorsman has decided to seek other professional challenges, effective 1 October 2021.
“We warmly thank Dorsman for leading the organisation during challenging times and representing European shipowners in the important dialogue with numerous EU policymakers. During his term of office, ECSA has continued to be the strong voice for European Shipping,” says Claes Berglund, president of ECSA.
ECSA has started the process to recruit new management. In the meantime, Katalin Dobránszky-Bartus and Sotiris Raptis will jointly lead the organisation as acting secretary generals. European shipowners employ 2 million people both on board and ashore. (cj)
