Easy flying for furry friends


Starting today, 1 September 2021, customers booking flights for their cat or dog at American Airlines can add a delivery ground transportation service to their reservation through an American Airlines Cargo dedicated pet booking agent. This means customers can welcome their pet at home instead of waiting at the cargo terminal. The service is an add-on provided by the animal transportation experts at My Pet Cab.

 

Roger Samways, VP, commercial for American Airlines Cargo: "Pet owners have depended on our animal transportation expertise for 65 years, and we’re excited to combine our experience with My Pet Cab to offer this first ever front-door delivery service to our customers."

 

The new ground service is available for pets travelling to BOS, CLT, ORD, IAH, LAX, MIA, EWR, JFK, LGA, PHL, SFO and SEA. (ah)
