DX acquires in Northern Ireland
Delivery solutions provider DX has added to its Northern Irish portfolio and acquired Express Freight, gaining access to a 12,140 sqm base close to Belfast. With 50 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, Express has now amassed a team of 115 staff operating out of Moyraverty, Craigavon.
This facility features 1,626 sqm of warehousing capacity, 38 loading bays, 557 sqm for storage and further spaces for offices as well as a drive-through canopy. Once the transaction has been completed, Express Freight’s management team will remain with the business, ensuring its smooth integration into the DX network.
DX plans to boost its capacities with more acquisitions to come, expanding its brand in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and beyond. (mk)
