Duvenbeck expands Polish business
Duvenbeck, a full-service logistics provider, is expanding its activities in Poland in response, amongst others, to a growing automotive market. Companies will showcase their solutions at the trade fare Trans Logistica Poland in Warsaw next week.
"Poland is playing an increasingly important role for the automotive industry as a manufacturing location and procurement market. We are adapting to this by expanding our services in transport logistics," says Dirk Bergmann, managing director of Duvenbeck Poland.
About 30% of all batteries for e-vehicles manufactured in Europe are produced in Poland. The company is therefore increasing its capacities to transport lithium-ion batteries. At the headquarters in Wroclaw, near the German border, 350 employees organise cargo transports to neighbouring countries.
Duvenbeck Poland specialises in just-in-time and just-in-sequence shipments with a fleet of 500 units and also offers project transports with large-capacity trucks. (mk)
