Duvenbeck also uses biogenic fuel
The biogenic fuel HVO100 has been available in Germany since the end of Mai this year. Duvenbeck is one of the first forwarders to secure its quota of the fuel to switch parts of its truck fleet to normal operations with HVO100.
The company was also the first German logistician to test the plant-based fuel in daily operations over a fairly long period as part of a pilot project. The experience gained was thoroughly positive, the forwarder said.
With the biogenic fuel, Duvenbeck has now another alternative in addition to battery and biogas powered trucks to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in road haulage. HVO is made from biogenic raw materials such as used cooking oils, fats and organic household waste (ben)
