Dutch Flower Group finds partner in Dubai
Q7 Air Cargo, a perishable logistics company based in Dubai, is to acquire an interest in Dutch Flower Group (DFG), holding company of Airflo, a specialised perishable logistics group of companies with operations in Kenya and the Netherlands.
DFG, who themselves recently completed the purchase of the Airflo businesses from DSV Panalpina, now welcome the participation of Q7 as co-owner, since it is, together with its sister company Tiger Freight, a long term operator in the African perishable logistics industry.
From tomorrow, 1 September 2020, Q7’s Andrew Pattenden will be appointed CEO of the Airflo holding company, with Pim de Wit and Peter Verner Kristensen continuing to head the individual Dutch and Kenyan subsidiary business units respectively. (ah)
