DSV assembles a sustainable fleet
DSV and Volvo Trucks are working together to deploy 300 electric and 500 fuel-efficient trucks in DSV’s European network. The fleet is set to be delivered by 2026 to be deployed for DSV’s operations in Europe.
The Volvo FH aero electric trucks will operate with zero-exhaust emissions, while the rest of the fleet will use fuel-efficient diesel and gas engines. This project is in line with DSV’s goal to increase its e-truck fleet to 2,000 by 2030.
DSV is the largest transporter of goods for the Volvo Group. As part of the deal, the new trucks will be serviced by Volvo, and some of them will be used to transport goods to and from Volvo sites. (mk)
