Drews must step down
Eurogate has “recalled” Manuela Drews from the management of the Container Terminal Bremerhaven (CTB). She will pursue “other activities” within the company, the terminal operator said in a press release. Mikkel E. Andersen has been chosen to take the helm in Drews’ place.
The Dane will lead CBT in addition to his responsibilities as managing director of the Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven (CTW).
Eurogate plans to reduce costs by EUR 41 million in the Bremerhaven terminal and has announced an economy drive to last until 2024.
Drews joined the Eurogate group’s management trainee programme in 2003. In 2008 she assumed her role as head of operations at CTB and was promoted to managing director and authorised representative in 2010. (amh)
