Dreier acquires textile logistics from the M+R Spedag Group
The Swiss transport company Dreier is taking over the textile logistics division of the M+R Spedag Group and strengthening its position in the market for garments on hangers. From 2020, the division will be renamed “Dreier Fashion4you.”
“Our goal was to find a buyer who would take over the distribution terminal and further expand the business segment. We needed a candidate with a constant focus on customer needs and the safeguarding of jobs. This became possible with the takeover by the Dreier company,” CEO Daniel Richner explained.
Dreier has been internationally active in the textile sector since 1985, primarily in the Maghreb states, and as a logistics partner for a successful German e-commerce fashion platform. In Switzerland, Dreier distributes its entire range of lifestyle products for the largest European fashion chains. “From now on, we will be able to logistically serve the whole of Switzerland with our daily distribution systems, whether for packaged goods or garments on hangers,” CEO Hans-Peter Dreier said.
