DP World integrating Indo-European offering
P&O Ferrymasters and its parent company, DP World, have joined forces in their first common-carrier agreement, which provides customers with comprehensive solutions to move goods between India and Europe.
P&O Ferrymasters and DP World can reduce the number of handling stages for goods and speed up transport through a global service for ocean freight, using ‘port-centric’ logistics solutions. Digital services will track cargo flows through DP World Track and Trace.
Mike Bhaskaran, DP World’s chief operating officer for logistics and technology, said that “the agreement will integrate P&O Ferrymasters’ expansive European logistics network into DP World’s global web of trade-enabling businesses, including ports, logistics and economic zones, terminals, industrial parks and maritime services.” (cd)
