Doubling rail shuttle frequency
Multi Modal Rail is stepping up its train frequencies on the Rotterdam - Weil am Rhein (Germany) corridor. From February, the company’s rail shuttle will run twice a week between Weil am Rhein, near Basel in the /Swiss/French/German border triangle and the Dutch port. Multi Modal Rail provisionally launched the intermodal connection in November 2018.
From next month, the train will depart Rotterdam on Tuesday mornings and Friday afternoons, departures from Weil am Rhein will be on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons.
Multi Modal Rail has already been operating a rail service between Rotterdam and Strasbourg in Alsace (France) for two years. (ben)
