Double-stitched is better?
Early 2020, Worldwide Flight Services' (WFS) Pharma Centre at Paris CDG already achieved Iata CEIV Pharma certification. Now, the centre, which is part of the company's multi-million EUR investment in global pharma handling facilities, has also been awarded the good distribution practice (GDP) certification.
Yann Favre, newly-appointed manager pharma at the facility: "As a major global air cargo handler, WFS is already actively involved in the safe and compliant handling of pharmaceutical shipments and medical devices. Gaining both certifications here means we have achieved the highest respective global standards recognised by the air cargo and pharma industries."
It is worth noting that FCS, a joint-venture of WFS and Fraport at Frankfurt airport, just made the same two steps within only a few weeks' time. (ah)
