Domarin sells majority share
Felbermayr has taken over the majority share of the Domarin Group of companies in southern Germany. The Domarin locations and facilities in the water and shipbuilding sector will remain unaffected, as will the name of the long-established company.
Domarin was founded in 1986 and entered the shipbuilding business ten years later with the acquisition of a shipyard in Erlenbach am Main.
The owner Josef Brunner sold his majority shareholding to Felbermayr as part of the transaction to secure the company's succession. In addition to the team of Domarin employees, the portfolio includes around 50 floating units consisting of push boats, cargo motor ships, barges and pontoons. (sh) www.domarin.de,
