Dnata upgrades in Singapore and Australia
Dnata, which operates a 1,400 sqm pharma and perishable handling centre at Singapore Changi airport, has become the first local cargo handler to operate cool dollies. The company’s new devices are designed to serve the pharmaceutical industry with a closed temperature-controlled system for seamless delivery of temperature-sensitive goods between warehouse and aircraft.
In other news, Dnata has gone live at six Australian airports with the Hermes 5 cargo management system (CMS) from Hermes Logistics Technologies (HLT). HLT CEO Yuval Baruch said that "the CMS in the Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Darwin, Perth and Brisbane hubs were migrated into a single Hermes digital ecosystem, thus streamlining their services and unlocking opportunities for machine-learning algorithms."
