DKV guarantees green electricity
DKV Mobility guarantees that all electricity used for charging with the ‘DKV Card +Charge’ in 2024 and 2025 is sourced from renewable energy. The company has acquired guarantees of origin confirming that each kilowatt hour charged via its network comes from certified green energy sources, in accordance with RE100 criteria.
With access to over 893,000 charging points, DKV Mobility operates one of Europe’s most extensive EV charging networks, according to the company. The aim is to improve transparency in sustainable energy use and allow customers to incorporate the renewable electricity into their CO₂ reporting.
“Customers can rely on renewable power at all charge points within the DKV Mobility network,” said Sven Mehringer, managing director for energy and vehicle services at DKV Mobility. (js)
