Diversifying the sector in Slovenia
The Slovenian cargo carrier Solinair has kicked off construction on a new aircraft maintenance hangar at Ljubljana airport (LJU), broadening its service capabilities.
The facility will boost Solinair’s capacity for base maintenance and expand its portfolio beyond regional aircraft, to include narrow-body models such as the Airbus A220 and the Embraer E190.
The hangar, whose completion is slated for Q1/2026, will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology and underpin the company’s growth. (ah)
