Dirk Verstraeten now CEO of De Grave-Antverpia
Dirk Verstraeten is taking over the position of CEO at inland waterway shipping company De Grave-Antverpia. In this role, he will also represent the interests of the majority shareholder, HGK Shipping, at the ARA ports.
Verstraeten: “As the new CEO, I’ll continue to accelerate the transformation process to form an innovative and sustainable company. As a partner to industry, our particular goal is to translate its future needs into the decisions that we make today.”
Verstraeten most recently worked in a global chemical production environment as a logistics and procurement specialist at Covestro Deutschland in Leverkusen. Working alongside CFO Hubert Magnus, he will continue to develop De-Grave-Antverpia’s inland waterway shipping activities. (cj)
