Directorship for Alberto Hernández
Marmedsa Noatum Maritime Bilbao is strengthening its team by appointing a new director - namely Alberto Hernández - who has more than 20 years of experience in managing logistics and port projects. Hernández underwent extensive training in merchant marine and maritime transport at the University of the Basque Country.
At Marmedsa Noatum Maritime's Bilbao office, Hernández will take charge of all sectors of the shipping agency for all types of vessels (regular line and tramp) and the commercial development of the various business lines of Noatum Maritime Services.
Furthermore, one of his objectives will focus on fostering synergies between Bilbao (Spain) and other business areas in the Noatum Group, including port terminals (Noatum Terminals) and specialised and international logistics (Noatum Logistics).
Due to its strategic location, Bilbao is a significant hotspot for Noatum Maritime Services, with particular specialisation in conventional cargo and short sea services. (mw)
