Direct train between Duisburg and Lodz
Kombiverkehr is expanding its services on the Germany - Poland connection and, in addition to the Poznan CLIP Swarzedz terminal, is now also operating a direct train to the Lodz Spedcont terminal.
With this new service, the CT operator is easing traffic congestion on the E20 railway line between Warsaw and Poznan, where there are considerable obstructions due to construction work.
Poznan's central location in the middle of Poland, its direct connection to the Lodz North motorway junction and thus to important east-west and north-south routes, makes it a very good hub for roadside pre- and onward carriage, says Kombiverkehr. Terminal Poznan also ensures a faster handling of trains. (ben)
