Digital trade solutions on show in Côte d'Ivoire

Soget and Bureau Veritas will showcase their new digital platforms for the maritime and airport sectors at an event in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, from 15 to 18 April 2024.

The port operating system (POS), the port community system (PCS), and the external trade single window (Guce) aim to streamline operations and enhance the security of international trade.

Soget has been active in Côte d'Ivoire since 2013, improving service efficiency at the autonomous port of Abidjan. Bureau Veritas has been appointed by Côte d'Ivoire's ministry of commerce to implement a conformity verification programme.

Together, they have launched the largest foreign trade platform in the Democratic Republic of Congo, integrating ports, airports, and border posts with the latest PCS technology. Their joint projects focus on technical training and are designed to promote local job creation and operational efficiency. (pb)
