"Digital forwarder" project on track
Russian FTL-trucking company Globaltruck is developing the IT platform “Digital Forwarder GT2” to support operations with third-party providers, including logistic operators, freight forwarders and drivers. It will allow the haulier's partners to quickly supply additional fleets to fulfil customer orders.
Once implemented, the project will improve communications and speed up the response to orders, Globaltruck said.
The platform includes order management, lLogistics management of Globaltruck’s own and third-party fleet, CRM as well as financial management. All modules will be operational by 2023. (ben)
