DHL supports wastewater business
Finland-based Wärtsilä is partnering with DHL to optimise the management of water & waste supply chains. DHL Supply Chain will take over the business’s warehouse and spare parts logistics as part of the deal. Using DHL’s logistics network, Wärtsilä will be able to boost its operations and minimise lead times.
Off the back of a previous collaboration with the group, DHL is now specifically partnering with Wärtsilä Water & Waste, which specialises in wastewater management, water management systems, freshwater generation, and other environmental solutions. The transition to DHL Supply Chain will take place by the end of 2024, after which Wärtsilä can focus on improving customer experience. (mk)
