DHL enters French partnership
DHL gains a new partner in France as it joins forces with Sanofi, a healthcare company. This move will see DHL Supply Chain taking over logistics activities for the company on three sites.
From warehousing, inventory management, and picking and packing, to order fulfilment, DHL will be taking over operations for its new customer in select hubs in France. This builds on the companies’ previous partnership, which comprises multiple countries. The new contract will enable DHL to expand its healthcare and life science portfolio.
The distribution sites at Amilly, Croissy-Beaubourg and Saint-Loubès will profit from the logistics provider’s expertise in the region. "This strategic agreement serves as a lever to further develop our life sciences and healthcare division in France and the wider emea region," says Nico Schütz, CEO DHL Supply Chain France. (mk)
