Deutsche Aircraft plans FAL for D328eco

Deutsche Aircraft and Leipzig/Halle Airport have taken a new step towards signing a project agreement for the establishment of a new FAL for the D328eco located on the premises of the airport.

The construction application for the FAL has been delivered to Saxony's building authorities and approval is expected in December. The event is planned for the second half of 2022.

Saxony's minister of economic affairs Martin Dulig declared: "Around 160 companies and research institutions with more than 7,000 employees are active in Saxony's aerospace sector. The establishment of the aircraft production line in Leipzig/Halle will radiate beyond Saxony and give a boost to the German aviation industry, which was particularly affected by the corona pandemic."
