Designing trucks for agriculture
In Germany, special vehicle manufacturer Paul and sales specialist Lankhorst have joined forces to offer trucks for contractors and businesses in the agricultural sector. The basic chassis of the vehicle will be supplied by Daimler Truc, while Lankhorst Nord, as part of the Krone Group, will have access to farmers and contractors.
Up to now, there have been very few providers of trucks specifically designed for use in agriculture, and the market for professional agricultural logistics is becoming increasingly important, the two partners say.
The contact point will be a newly created Lankhorst truck centre, which will provide individual complete agricultural logistics solutions from a single source and configure and convert tractors into agricultural all-rounders. (ben)
