Descartes acquires Visual Compliance
Descartes Systems Group has completed its acquisition of the businesses run by the Management Systems Resources group of companies operating under the names “Visual Compliance,” “eCustoms” and “MSR” (collectively, “Visual Compliance”).
The purchase cost approximately CAD 330 million (around USD 250 million), including working capital acquired. The transaction is structured as a combination of asset and share purchases.
Visual Compliance, in business since 1983, has about 100 employees primarily based in Toronto (Canada), with a supporting office in Buffalo NY (USA).
