Deppon Express digitises fleet
Chinese logistics company Deppon Express has contracted Infor, a business cloud software provider to improve overall operational and business efficiency. Founded in 1996, Deppon Express provides solutions including loose truck load (LTL) and full truck load (FTL) transportation, delivery services and warehousing management.
Infor helped to digitise and optimise the operations process. Of Deppon’s 500,000 assets, there were 15,000 commercial vehicles, 26,000 courier vehicles and more than 1,200 business vehicles that had to be incorporated into its asset life cycle management operations.
Deppon Express began implementing Infor’s EAM at the end of December 2020 and plans to launch phase one of its asset management plan in March 2021, with phase two to follow in August. The system is expected to go live at the end of 2021. (sh)
