Dematic automates warehouse for IVF Hartmann
Dematic is automating the warehouse of IVF Hartmann, a provider of medical consumables located in Neuhausen am Rheinfall (Switzerland).
The intralogistics specialist is equipping IVF Hartmann’s new 400 sqm building with a fully automated tray storage solution and a multi-shuttle system.
Rainer Buchmann, CEO of Dematic Central Europe, explained: "Our two-storey facility is the optimal solution for IVF Hartmann. The storage and order picking areas are located directly above each other to prevent time being lost on complex internal transport routes.”
Building on two levels also enables IVF Hartmann to step up the efficiency of its logistics processes and exploit local conditions in an ideal manner. (mw)
