Deka enters logistics market
Deka Immobilien has secured a newly-built logistics facility in Belgium.
The MG Park Malinas offers 71,500 sqm of rental space, 110 parking spaces and 33 truck docks. The fully-let property is leased to Wimbles Services, a subsidiary of international snack producer Kellanova.
Located close to its production facility, the site is positioned for distribution in the Benelux region and northern France. A rooftop solar installation and Breeam certification with the target rating ‘Excellent’ are planned. The investment marks Deka’s entry into the Belgian logistics market. The site lies in the Brussels–Antwerp–Ghent logistics triangle between the port of Antwerp and Brussels airport. (js)
