DB Schenker relocates to BUD Cargo City

Budapest airport’s BUD Cargo City is looking forward to welcoming a new tenant: Another logistics services provider, DB Schenker, has decided to relocate its airfreight operations directly to the Hungarian capital’s airport.

DB Schenker has signed a lease contract to this effect. The company will rent a storage area of 700 sqm and more than 200 sqm of office space in the new cargo handling facility at the airport.

In Hungary, DB Schenker manages more than 52,000 sqm of storage space in a central location in Szigetszentmiklós to the south of Budapest, where the company also has its Hungarian headquarters for overland, air cargo and seafreight services. (mw)
