DB Schenker offers stability package
DB Schenker has approved a stability package for customers of its competitor Damco. Intended for affected companies, the package includes an offer to take over short-term service agreements of up to two months’ contract period for the same conditions as agreed with Damco.
With the stability package, DB Schenker responds to market unrest following an announcement of A.P. Moeller-Maersk to discontinue the Damco brand and its FCL NVOCC business. To seamlessly take on these obligations, DB Schenker can access globally secured ocean freight capacities at short notice.
For companies who are in longer running agreements with Damco, DB Schenker pledges to provide prioritised quotes on short notice. Damco customers willing to make use of the offering can reach out to their local DB Schenker experts. (mw)
