DB Schenker: global cargo flights from Frankfurt
DB Schenker has launched its new "global flight operations programme". With exclusive full charter flights it now provides reliable connections between Frankfurt and the world's major economic powerhouses such as China (Shanghai twice - and Beijing and Zhengzhou once a week, respectively), USA (2x Chicago, 1x Atlanta), Middle East (Dubai) and India (Mumbai).
While air freight capacity remains highly impacted due to the lack of passenger flights, this new offer is intended to create reliable cargo options for DB Schenker's customers who export from countries across Europe.
The new services follow close on the heels of other full charter flights operated by DB Schenker, such as the "Covid-19-China Shuttle" with converted B767 aircraft of partner Icelandair. All in all, the company made 1,110 flights available for its customers. . (ah)
