Davies Turner: haulage capacity less tight
In response to recent reports that available road haulage capacity in Europe is at its highest level in a decade, UK-based Davies Turner says it agrees with the survey results showing that the strong growth in European freight volumes in recent years could be slowing down in 2019.
“One year ago European haulage capacity was very tight, especially in Germany. Now there is currently the capacity to handle demand, despite the well-publicised driver shortages," the forwarder declared.
Davies Turner’s portfolio of daily European overland trailer services benefit from a strong pan-European network of partners, not least through its membership of System Alliance Europe. (ben)
