Danx Carousel – day and night logistics
Danx Carousel has acquired the LPR Group, the overnight logistics specialist, adding it to its time-critical logistics portfolio. LPR is based in Germany and offers pan-national logistics services for both day and night express transport, including emergency logistics, returns management, warehousing and on-site services and repairs.
Since its founding it 1988 the group has grown to 500 employees, of which 200 are service engineers, and runs a repair centre for its maintenance activities. By acquiring LPR, Danx is looking to strengthen its hold on the time-critical logistics market and add regional expertise in Germany.
LPR’s CEO Michael Bonnes said that, “following a period of sustained growth, particularly in the retail, healthcare and IT services segments, we’re now looking forward to working with Danx Carousel.” (mk)
