Daher sells heavy goods business
Freight forwarder Kuebler, which is headquartered in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany, is acquiring the heavy goods business of the German company Daher Projects, a subsidiary of the French Daher group. In addition to around 40 employees at four locations, Kuebler will also take over the heavy vehicle fleet for road and rail transport, including 100 special wagons with a payload of up to 454 t.
Heinz Rössler, owner and managing director of the freight forwarder, welcomes the reinforcement of the newly created segment.
Deutsche Bahn sold its former unit for project logistics to the French Daher group in 2007. The Daher Holding intends to focus on its key businesses - aircraft manufacture, aerospace equipment and system logistics – in future. (sh)
