Dachser to expand near Karlsruhe
In a strategic location in the Middle Upper Rhine region, Dachser’s logistics centre in Karlsruhe will take over another warehouse site in Rastatt by early 2025.
The hub is being planned and realised by DFI Real Estate on 27,800 sqm of functional space. As Dachser had already signed the lease agreement before construction began, DFI Real Estate can take its customer’s needs into account. 23,300 sqm will be warehousing space, with room for 42,000 pallets.
Situated at the Rastatt North freeway exit, the hub enables access to many land-based transport routes as well as Karlsruhe’s Rhine ports. Additionally, Dachser’s centre in Malsch will be just a few kilometres away, complementing the company’s local network. Completion and handover are set for Q2/2025. (mk)
