Dachser expands in Australia and New Zealand
By taking over air and sea freight forwarder ACA International, Dachser is adding six locations Down Under to its own air & sea logistics (ASL) network.
With this acquisition, Dachser extends its coverage in this segment to Australia and New Zealand, countries that are not only economically strong but also closely interlinked with Asia, Europe, and North America.
ACA International employs 56 people and generated a revenue of around EUR 75 million in 2021. The air and sea freight forwarding company was founded in 1982 and is privately owned. It offers integrated international transport services and uses the latest information technologies for its business.
Headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, ACA International has two additional offices in Sydney and Brisbane and branches in Auckland, Wellington, and Hamilton in New Zealand. The company also runs an additional branch office in Kansas City, USA, and is present in the Greater China region. (ben)
