Customs clearance at the German-Polish border
Logistics specialist Spaarmann, part of the Rhenus Group, continues to handle customs clearance for its customers as usual, even during the corona crisis, by making use of a binational team and business sites on the German and Polish sides.
Employees are working 24 hours a day in several shifts at the company’s terminal in Forst near Cottbus in Germany and in Świecko II in Poland near Frankfurt (Oder) so that goods reach their recipients in good time.
The customs broker immediately demonstrated its flexibility when border checks were introduced on the German/Polish border at the beginning of March; this led to enormous traffic jams stretching back several kilometres on the approach roads. (ben)
