Crossing the globe
Global Crossing Airlines estimates the delivery of its first A321F, as part of the Vallair LOI announced 20 October 2020, will be June 2021. In addition to this freighter, GlobalX is close to finalising the leases for its first two previously announced passenger aircraft expected to be delivered in December 2020 and January 2021.
GlobalX is a new entrant airline now in FAA certification using the Airbus A320 family aircraft. Subject to FAA and DOT approvals, the Miami-based company intends to fly as an ACMI and wet lease charter airline serving the US, Caribbean and Latin American markets. (ah)
