Craiss extends warehouse in Karlsruhe
Logistics services provider Albert Craiss has expanded its warehouse in Karlsruhe (Germany). With an about 2,000 sqm block storage area and spaces for around 6,000 euro pallets, the company has thus made a substantial increase to its warehousing capacity in this location.
Craiss manages its warehouses in the city near the French border for its customers from the automotive, machine and tool building, electronics and trade industries.
“By extending our storage capacities in Karlsruhe we respond to the steadily growing demand for intelligent logistics solutions,” says Jörg Schneider, managing director contract logistics at Albert Craiss.
“Now more block storage facilities and racks for euro pallets are in place and directly available,” Schneider adds. With a railway link and its immediate proximity to the Rhine port, the warehouse offers close and cost-effective access to road, rail and inland shipping networks. (mw)
