Craiss expands international services

The transport and logistics expert has introduced a weekly truck service from Hungary via Germany to Portugal for a German steel producer. The route is over 6,000 km long and connects several locations.

The trucks leave Hungary every Friday. The first driver transports the freight within Hungary to the country’s western border. There, two main drivers take over the vehicle and complete the journey to Portugal via Germany. The entire transport takes eight days.

Thanks to the special model with three drivers, the transport can be completed quickly while complying with statutory driving and rest times. Craiss plans to set up another location in western Hungary in the foreseeable future. (ben)
