Cooperation on the Nis–Wels route
The Serbian terminal operator and combined transport provider MBox is partnering with the German company Kombiverkehr to offer train services with three weekly departures in both directions.
Kombiverkehr runs direct trains from the Wels hub terminal in Austria to Duisburg Ruhrort Hafen, Munich-Riem and Ludwigshafen (all in Germany), with many onward connections to destinations in Germany and abroad.
From its central hub in Nis (Serbia), MBox operates regular intermodal links to all major seaports on the Adriatic region and offers customs clearance of goods and road-side pre- and on-carriage in Serbia and across borders. It has 1,200 m of industrial rail tracks and a rail shunting vehicle for the quick manoeuvring of wagons. (ben)
