Cool dollies in Abu Dhabi
Etihad Cargo, the cargo and logistics arm of Etihad Airways, has introduced cool dollies for the transportation of pharmaceutical and perishable shipments to complete its cool chain capabilities at its Abu Dhabi (UAE) hub.
Manufactured by the Italian company Bombelli Airport Equipment, the specialised containers offer a closed, temperature-controlled system to transport high-value and temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical cargo between the carrier's aircraft and cool chain warehouse.
